Think you found the disease-carrying insect?

  • Time is critical.
  • Secure psyllids in a clear, locked sandwich bag, jar or plastic container.
  • Contact your local Agricultural Commissioner’s office or call the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

What happens if my tree has the pest or the disease?

If it is determined that your tree has the psyllid, steps to eradicate the pest would take place, which may include using chemical and/or biological control agents. If your citrus tree has the disease, it will be removed in order to protect other citrus trees on your property and within the state. Every effort will be made to protect your citrus trees now and in the future.
